story of my life! :)

I haven't done an outfit post with myself as the subject in awhile, mainly because I have insecurites and body issues...but I think we all do...
so, I have decided to be free and am learning to love myself and work on the things I want to change...and not just physical. :)

Ok, enough rambling...

I hope you enjoy my outfit....I love this dress so much that I've worn it twice (maybe 3 times) and have only had it for 2 weeks. It's the perfect mix of modern with a hint of vintage inspiration. I've seen it on slender girls and it looks great...but also super flattering on us curvy girls. (hugs and flows in all the right places!)

a sweet smile and old soul

This Saturday, I photographed a lovely Guatemalen gal named Karen. She is such a sweetheart with an old-soul.
I got to know her a bit and learned about her background and interest in vintage fashion. She's been collecting vintage clothing and getting cherry tattoos since back in her high-school days. Karen also interned at a very high-end store that specialized in authentic vintage/period pieces.
Karen has got to be one of the most genunine people that I've met in a long time...and that's hard to come by here in Hollywood.
Anywho, Karen is definitely a pinup girl at heart...

Check out this image that I could not resist to work on...She resembles modern-day pinup Raquel Reed a bit...but even more reminiscent of a classic Latin-American cinema actress.
